Dear Patients,
We are all concerned about the welfare of our patients and staff during this pandemic. As recommended by the American Dental Association we will only be seeing emergency visits by appointment at this time through April 3rd. We will have staff to answer phones on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am-2:00pm. If you cannot reach us by phone, you may leave a message for us to respond as soon as possible. If you have a dental emergency, please call our office 817-837-8500 and our answering machine will provide you our emergency phone number. Our protocol for appointments is as follows:
We ask that if you have travelled internationally in the last 30 days or come in close contact with others that have, allow us to schedule your appointment 3 weeks after that time.
If you have been diagnosed within the last 30 days with respiratory infection, had a cough, fever, flue, and specifically Covid-19, allow us to schedule after we receive clearance from your doctor.
If you have an active cold, flu, or allergy symptoms, please allow us to schedule your appointment 3 weeks after symptoms have resolved.
Please refrain from bringing additional guests. We have always been set up to have minimal patients in our waiting room and have taken additional steps for patient safety.
We are limiting certain procedures and will advise at time of examination on appropriate treatment times.
If you have any questions on infection control and procedures, please ask at any time and Dr. Wharry will be glad to discuss.
We perform Center of Disease Control Guidelines on infection control, sterilization techniques and disinfection procedures for all common areas.
